Really old laptop
(too old to reply)

I have a really old laptop, a Digital HiNote
C5450, that I have some questions about.

1) The hard drive works, but the boot sector
doesn't, so I have to boot from floppy. Is
there a source for HD's for something this
old anymore?

2) Just to the right of the display, there is
what looks like a rectangular monochrome LCD
panel. I'm guessing it was for battery life,
but can this panel be accessed
progammatically?

3) The only interface port on this machine is
a PS/2 port for mouse or keyboard. Is there
any info out there on setting up a comm link
between two PC's via PS2 Ports? I'd be happy
if I could set up a keyboard emulation program
to send keystrokes from a PC to this laptop.

TIA for any help.
