Dell Latitude Resolution

I have just got the above and the resolution seems to be fixed at 1600 x
1200. I can get 1024 x 768 but
it shows with a black border of about an inch. When I click OK it
reverts to the 1600.

Any suggestions

I "presume" you are using WinXP? I "presume" you have a Latitude C600? That
is the model I have and Ihad this same problem. I was using Xp when it
happened to me. I went into the Dell homepage support and download and got
the latest driver. When it was installed it worked perfectly.

I also have a D600, but the battery is missing, but never had any problems
with that one.
