I bought an hp Pavilion dv 6000 about 18months ago. It's been an absolutely
the worst computer I've ever owned. I'd explain the litany of problem I've
had with the mschine and especially with HP waranty service but it would
serve only to elevate my blood pressure which is already too high.
I want only to ask a question about the problem du jour . `
The image on the screen is unstable unless the display panel is held tightly
by the left side and manipulated into a certain position. the screen image
will then look fine. Yhis reminds me of the days before cable when we were
too poor to have an antenae on the roof so someone, guess who had to hold
the rabbit ears with tin foil hat in that 1 certain position that brought in
channel 4 and the flying nun

OK I'll answer my own question, It was a bad LCD display. I replaced it with
a brand new one for $85 on ebay. It now looks beautiful, perfect, clear
