Adding RAM to an old Ipex-ASUS laptop
(too old to reply)

I have an old Ipex-ASUS 8400C laptop that has a mere 128M of RAM. There is
room for another 128M, and I believe if I could install that extra RAM, the
machine would improve from dreadfully slow to merely slow. I cannot see how
to get into the thing. The bottom is one piece, with six screws. It looks as
if I would have to unscrew them all and remove the whole base. That can't be
right, surely. Does anyone know how it is done?

I've discovered that it's under the keyboard if anyone's interested.
